The annual baby show takes place indoors commencing at 3.00p.m.  Here there are three classes - Under 8 months, Under 18 months and Under 24 months.

In the community field the Vintage section has many attractions mainly being vintage cars from Rolls Royce to Morris Minors and vintage tractors ranging from Leyland Nuffield, Massey Ferguson, Ford to David Brown which have been lovingly restored and kept by their loyal owners.    Also on display are old farm vintage machinery water pumps and a large selection of old machinery seats.   An old fire engine from Cork Co. Council fire brigade will be on exhibition.   Also a very attractive item is the coastal rescue unit dated 1850, which was used to rescue people from ships.

Appearing again this year will be the All-Ireland Champions - the Coachford Tractor Building Team   who will rebuild the Fergerson 20  tractor from parts on the ground.   This item attracted a large crowd at the show in 2009.

A new attraction to this year’s show is the tractor pulling competition –which will consist of a team of six where men and women of all sizes and ages can show their strength.
Michael Looney from the vintage section reported that there were over 130 entries in the Vintage rally section for the 2009  Show.

Local man Pat Joe Looney from Cloghroe has restored a very old milk separator and butter churn and will demonstrate the art of butter making.   Now   let us  go back in time to the Old Steam engine which will be put into motion and work  with the old time threshing set.   While watching  the men who are feeding the thresher machine, piking the sheaves bagging the oats,  and baling the straw why not avail of the free loose porter for over 18’s and orange being handed out to show visitors.    Late in the evening the grain and oaten straw goes on sale to the general public.

A sheep shearing demonstration will be given by the All-Ireland Ladies Champion Breda Lynch using the old traditional hand shears   in the community field starting at 2.00 p.m.  She will be accompanied by Denis O’Sullivan who is a Bronze medalist from the recent world championships.

Immensely popular is the Pet Dog  Show  a non-pedigree show with eleven classes incorporating Gain Dog All-Ireland championship for any variety of Toy or Miniature Dog, Handled by a child under 15 years, and also a Large dog - any breed handled by a Teenager or Adult.    The two winners go forward to the final at Clonaslee Show Co. Laois on Sunday 12th September 2010, so all dog owners get your doggie ready bring it along for all to see and enter some of the classes on offer on the day.

Inniscarra Show has trade stands, which will exhibit and sell a variety of crafts, food, shrubs and plants etc.

Teas, drinks, sandwiches, chips, ice cream and candy floss are provided on the grounds.   In the entertainment section there is a large bouncing castle, a  large slide, and also many funs games for children.

This year in 2010 the show will again feature the popular pet’s corner displaying a selection of animals which will be of interest to everybody both young and old.   There will be geese and goslings, ducks and ducklings, hens and chickens, bantam hens and chicks, a donkey and her foal along with a goat and her kids.   Also featuring will be alpacas from Aghinagh O Catasaigh Alpacos Stud.

Finally a word of thanks to all the Show Sponsors for their financial assistance and  the hard working committee of voluntary  workers without whom the SHOW would not take place and any profits after the day’s events is put back into the community centre which provides both social and sporting facilities to the parish of INNISCARRA.
